Don’t tell me that we’re not in the Age of the Platform.

Mashable is adding more “platform partners.” I’m hearing more and more about government as a platform. At CES, the auto manufacturers were talking about the car as a platform. GigaOM reports that Kickstarter is a hot funding platform.

Everyone is talking about platforms. You can’t watch a business/technology show without someone dropping that term every five minutes.

Today, it’s all about the platform.
